Where do I get my Scorecard and maps?

You can purchase a Scorecard from either the Ceduna Visitor Centre, the Norseman Visitor Centre or the Kalgoorlie Visitor Centre. Along with the scorecard, you’ll also be given maps.

Yes, you can hire clubs for $50 from either the Ceduna or Kalgoorlie Visitor Centres. If you hire them, you can use them for the entire course and drop them off at the Visitor Centre where you finish. It’s recommended that you don’t use your own nice clubs, as the course is in a dry, desert environment. If you don’t hire clubs, be sure to bring some old or “rough” irons for the fairways.

The tee-off areas and greens are all turfed, so they are safe for your good clubs—except for the sand greens in Ceduna. Remember, this is a desert course, so you should tee your ball up on and off the fairways to help protect the environment. You can use inverted water bottle caps for this, but don’t forget to take them with you!

You need to get your Scorecard stamped at every hole. For most holes, you’ll get your stamp from the Roadhouse or Petrol station located nearby. At Ceduna, Norseman, and Kalgoorlie, you’ll go to the Visitor Centre. At Kambalda, you can stamp your own card at the desk in the clubhouse.

Do I need to book a tee time?

Kalgoorlie is the only location where you need to book a time. You should call the Pro Shop at the Kalgoorlie Golf Course the day before you arrive to schedule your tee time for the last two holes. They will usually allocate a time for you after 3:30 p.m. All other holes are located next to roadhouses and are open 24/7. You don’t need to check in; just arrive, play, and then go into the roadhouse to get your stamp.

Stay alert and be aware of your surroundings. Be careful not to step on any snakes or disturb any holes in the ground, as they could be homes for large spiders, wombats, or snakes. Keep your hands out of holes!

Yes, you can download the Guidify App and scan the following QR code:

The app provides all the information you’ll need for every hole.

After you play your final two holes in either Kalgoorlie or Ceduna, go to the Visitor Centre to get your Scorecard stamped and verified. They will then print your Completion Certificate.
