10 December 2009Sheep's Back (par 3 - 129mts/141 yards)With a 15km left to right breeze blowing, Chris caressed a 6-iron tee shot, slightly to the left of the green. The ball bounced in the red dirt, followed by the obligatory puff of dust, and then it kicked slightly to the right onto the green. Two bounces later, the ball hit the pin and went into the hole. It was Chris’s first hole in one in an amateur golf career spanning 45 years. ”Very proud, as you can appreciate”, was his response.
